Cedric became an instructor at DDA – Baton Rouge in August of 2011 after driving both locally and over-the-road for more than 10 years. He is an active Staff Sergeant in the Louisiana Army National Guard and also completed a tour of duty in Iraq.
Q: What is the best part about being an instructor at DDA?
“Being able to see someone with no trucking experience transition into a licensed CDL Class A driver.”
Q: What advice would you give future and active DDA students?
“Show up with a positive attitude and the will to learn something new everyday.”
Q: When you are not here instructing how do you like to spend your time?
“I love flying. I actually have my commercial pilots license. I like to travel and meet new people. And, of course I love to spend time with my wife and two daughters. They are 1 and 2.”
