Advanced Truck Driver Training Program
Class A CDL
The Class A Advanced CDL Driver Training Program is offered at every Diesel Driving Academy campus, and is designed for those who have no experience or training as over-the-road (OTR) tractor-trailer truck drivers. If you want to become a professional truck driver, this program will prepare you for a new and in-demand career in the trucking industry!
Day Program: 20 weeks (600 clock hours)
Evening Program: 30 weeks (600 clock hours)
Requirements: No previous experience is needed to enroll in this course. Must be 21 years of age by graduation. Admissions Representatives will cover all admissions policies and entrance requirements.

Curriculum: Our CDL training is based off of industry standards. The driver training program includes hands-on training, and course work covering safety topics and advanced operation practices. All non-classroom training will be a combination of actual driver training, observation and instruction. Students will receive extensive driving practice on our campus driving range and public roadways with a qualified driver instructor.
This course prepares students for entry-level employment in the transportation industry. Career opportunities include Truck Driver, Line Haul Driver, Owner Operator, Semi-Truck Driver, or Over the Road (OTR) Driver.
