Basic Truck Driver Training Program
Class A CDL

The Basic CDL Driver Training Program is open to students with no previous experience in the trucking industry. If you want to become a professional truck driver, you can be ready for a new career in just a few weeks!


 

Day Program: 4 weeks (160 clock hours)

Requirements: No previous experience is needed to enroll in this course. Must be 21 years of age by graduation. Admissions Representatives will cover all admissions policies and entrance requirements.

Curriculum: The driver training program includes classroom instruction, as well as hands-on training based on industry standards. Students will practice driving on our closed driving range, as well as on public roadways with a qualified driving instructor.

Graduates of this program will gain the knowledge and skills to perform the duties of an entry-level truck driver.

What Will I Learn in the Basic CDL Driver Training Program?

The Basic Driver Training Program at Diesel Driving Academy covers behind-the-wheel training, and classroom work including traffic laws, backing & maneuvering the vehicle, pre-trip inspection, and how to be a safe driver on the road.
