Shreveport, Louisiana
Serving Northwest Louisiana and the ArkLaTex region
DDA’s Shreveport campus is located in northwest Louisiana at the crossroads of Caddo and Bossier parishes, within reach of students from across the ArkLaTex, the three-state area where Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas come together.
Accessible from Interstate 20 and Interstate 49, the Shreveport campus is an option for students across the region who do not want to drive into a larger city just to get to class.
Northwest Louisiana sits along major freight corridors connecting the Gulf Coast to the Midwest. The Shreveport market includes active, year-round demand from employers in trucking, energy, and industrial freight.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Serving South-Central Louisiana and the Capital Region
DDA’s Baton Rouge campus serves Louisiana’s Capital Region and the south-central corridor that runs from the Gulf Coast north toward Alexandria. The campus draws students from:
- East Baton Rouge
- West Baton Rouge
- Ascension
- Livingston
- East and West Feliciana
- Communities along the river corridor to the south
Baton Rouge sits at one end of the most heavily traveled freight corridor in the South. The stretch of the Mississippi River between Baton Rouge and New Orleans runs through a dense concentration of petrochemical plants, refineries, manufacturing facilities, and port operations. These industries drive consistent demand for CDL drivers across local, regional, and industrial routes, and that demand is not tied to any single employer or sector.

Monroe, Louisiana
Serving Northeast Louisiana and the Ouachita River Valley
The Monroe campus is an affiliate of DDA’s Baton Rouge location. Students who train here complete the same program and earn the same Louisiana CDL as graduates from any DDA campus.
Monroe is the largest city in northeast Louisiana and a commercial hub for the surrounding region. It sits roughly midway between Shreveport to the west and the Mississippi state line to the east. The campus serves students from parishes including:
- Ouachita
- Morehouse
- Union
- Lincoln
- Caldwell
- Franklin
For years, residents in northeast Louisiana had limited options for quality CDL training close to home. The Monroe campus extends DDA’s reach into that part of the state, giving local students a path to a commercial license without a long drive to Shreveport or Baton Rouge. Northeast Louisiana has a long history in agriculture, manufacturing, and natural gas production, and as industrial operations and distribution networks in the region have grown, so has the demand for CDL-licensed drivers.
